Here are my go to tips, tricks, and vendors to create an easy Cinco De Mayo party at home!

You can’t go wrong with some colorful florals. This arrangement from Mulberry Row in Studio City, California is full of texture and whimsy. If you don’t have a fancy vase for them, don’t worry about it! Use a large water jug or ceramic pot to display them in.

I am obsessed with Fiestaware. These colorful and sturdy plates are my everyday china at home as well as always my go-to plates for a Cinco De Mayo party. And don’t worry about fussy table settings either, just stack plates, napkins, and flatware at the end of the buffet for guests to help themselves. We are all family at a fiesta!

An easy and inexpensive way to decorate your Cinco De Mayo tablescape is with cut citrus like lemons, limes, grapefruit, and oranges. Not only is it colorful, but it adds some pops of freshness and aromatics to your design. Just throw it in your compose pile afterwards as to not waste food!

A fiesta is not a fiesta without lots of snick snacks! Chips & guacamole are a staple at my Cinco De Mayo parties. Here is a little trick. If you are purchasing store-bought guacamole (and there is NO judgment on that), squeeze in some fresh lime juice and chopped cilantro to brighten up the pre-packaged flavor.

If your serving spicy guacamole (is there any other kind?!) feel free to garnish the bowl with a full jalapeno so guests know it’s going to be spicy.

Every good fiesta needs some decoration. My go-to source for all things fiesta is Mesa Chic! From skulls, linens, pinatas, baskets, sombreros, and much more, they have everything you need for creating a fiesta anywhere!

Ok, let’s get our drink on with some delicious craft cocktails to celebrate Cinco De Mayo!

My personal favorite, The Fierce Margarita, from LA Speakeasy. This drink has a kick with the addition of habaneros! Garnished with sliced pineapple and pineapple leaves, this drink is on fire!

The Strawberry Margarita from LA Speakeasy is for those who like things on the sweeter side. Garnished with a pineapple triangle and a whole strawberry, this adult beverage is sweet but also sassy.

The Classic Margarita from LA Speakeasy is a classic for a very good reason. It’s flavor never goes out of style! Garnished with lime slices and cucumber slivers this drink goes perfectly with any Cinco De Mayo taco buffet!
