Right in time for Valentine’s Day, Green Wedding Shoes has showcased our I Love Lucy inspired wedding shoot!

When you close your eyes and think fondly about the original husband and wife duo that filled our hearts with so much love, it’s all about, ” I Love Lucy”. The antics of two people who love each other so much, yet equally make each other crazy can only be described as, ‘Marriage’!

The Harper is Costa Mesa was the backdrop for this nostalgic walk down memory lane.

Peterson Design & Photography captured all the technicolor goodness.

Pretty Details

Roseville Designs created paper goods that set the tone for the shoot by featuring images seen throughout I Love Lucy.

The neutral colors of The Harper made the colorful design aspects of this shoot, POP!

Babaloo Bliss

With both a bridal suite and groom’s room at The Harper, there are plenty of beautiful nooks and crannies for portraits.

Friar Tux brought a dapper, classicly elegant sense of style with this white dinner jacket, while this custom, bright pink lace, and chiffon ensemble from RMINE gave a nod to 60’s style with a surprise, modern twist. Pants!

Surprise! Palazzo Pants!

Gemstones are all the rage now but were seen on some of old Hollywood’s most influential women. Brilliant Earth brings all the sparkle with this platinum and aquamarine goodness.

You can’t have an I Love Lucy inspired wedding photo shoot without a little chocolate! There were fun nods to the iconic red head’s antics throughout the shoot. Can you spot some of the others?

Flower Power

What is better than a pink classic ride? A pink classic ride with a floral garland draped on it! Winston & Main brought all the florals feels out with this stunning cascade of flowers.

Highway of Love

This beautiful classic car, rented through Vinty, was passed down from the original owner to his daughter after he has spent years refurbishing it back to its original glory.

Style and Substance

Dinner time! Balloonzilla added colorful flair to the tablescape.

Adorned with tabletop rentals from Signature Party Rentals and surrounded by rose gold chairs from Collective Rentals, this tablescape makes a colorful statement.

A heart napkin fold just made sense! Do you love it?

I heart this heart-shaped sweetheart table from Signature Party Rentals.

Big City Sky

Lucy and Ricky lived in a New York City apartment building. In our modern wedding interpretation of the classic sitcom, we wanted to create a fire escape ceremony backdrop.

Papermoon Shoppe created this hand-painted wood backdrop and clouds. The skyline, stars, and moon images are seen on the invitations, menu and cake as well.

Giggles and Goodnights

Their home was the backdrop for many of the duos comedy antics. Collective Rentals brought to life a modern-day, colorful version of the couple’s living room complete with a vintage, PINK, television from Party Pieces by Perry.
