Holly is a wonderful blend of qualities that you don't always find together in one person. She is structured, and creative. She is enthusiastic, but not overbearing. She is strong and sympathetic. She is honest, but fair and supportive. She's the very best person to have in your corner on your big day (and it's so much more than one day, isn't it?).
I'm a professional production coordinator. I live organization and communication. Honestly, thanks God I didn't try to do this on my own!!! When you hire Holly you not only get her organizational skills and professionalism, you get access to her team of trusted vendors. The woman knows EVERYONE and is frankly a matchmaker when it comes to pairing you with people she thinks will "get" you, and understand you and your partner's vision. As if to prove it, the only vendors I had trouble with throughout the entire process were the two that we picked before hiring Holly, that did not come from her referral. Everyone she brought onto the team was wonderful. She was raised by another awesome wedding planner, and she clearly loves what she does.
The day of my wedding, I got to hang out and get my hair done with my mom, and my mother in law and bridesmaids. We had champagne and chilled out. I was so relaxed, because I knew that Holly and her team of magic elves were at the venue making sure everything was perfect so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Do you really want to be calling vendors and arranging flowers and setting things and answering questions the morning of your wedding? Even worse, do you want your mother or your bridesmaids to have to do it? No one wants that. Call Holly.
A wedding planner works with you for (usually) a year or more. A good wedding planner is a good communicator and can deal with a stressed out bride. Holly dealt with me during health issues and job changes and stress. She handled it like a champ, keeping us on budget and keeping track of which vendors we liked, didn't like, owed payments to, etc. She made herself available to answer wedding and engagement related questions- she's seen it all! Again... I'm super organized, I'm familiar with weddings, I know what I want, and I STILL wouldn't have been able to pull of our wedding without Holly. She's just wonderful, hard-working, and a great person to boot.
If you're on the fence about whether to hire a wedding planner or not, the answer is you should. If you're on the fence about which wedding planner to hire, the answer is Holly, assuming you're looking to make your day unique, special, colorful and creative. I couldn't have trusted a better professional for the job. Holly is worth every single dime. She really goes above and beyond, and puts you first when sometimes you forget to do it yourself.

"I literally don't know how she did it. We gave Holly a, pretty much, Herculean wedding task: A backyard wedding (built from scratch), in the middle of nowhere (the Anderson Valley, 2+ hours north of San Francisco), in the middle of wedding season (June omfg why), where errybody had opinions (me, my partner, my mom, my MIL, my FIL, our wedding party, etc). So I told myself "don't expect perfect. I've been in the wedding industry for almost a decade and I know there's no such thing as a perfect wedding." And yet... it was. The day of the wedding, Holly glided in like the perfect wedding fairy and just got. shit. done. I, of course, had my own stresses (a bridesmaid bailing at the last minute, 90+ degree heat, and a flustered MIL) but it was so nice to just deal with my own stuff, and let Holly take care of EVERYTHING ELSE.
By the time I got to the ceremony and reception site, she had transformed it from my Mother in Law's backyard to a Game of Thrones-meets-foodie wonderland. I still don't know how she did it. And I can't thank her enough.

"If you are looking for a planner who will go above and beyond for your big day - and do so with a genuine smile on her face the entire time - Holly is the planner for you. She coordinated my recent wedding this June and while the day was absolutely perfect, it was all the hard work, planning, and help Holly provided leading up to it that made the entire process not only seamless, but enjoyable! "Holly was the fabulous planner for the wedding of my husband and me at the end of October 2016. I’ve heard some people suggest that a wedding planners isn’t essential. Based on my experience, believe me, it is the most essential! You want to spend your wedding day taking in the ceremony, enjoying the reception, dancing, creating memories with your guests, and eating your own food. You want to spend the day being isolated from all the logistics and business-related decisions that need to be made in order to make your vision for the day a reality. "We hired Holly as our planner and I am SO GLAD we did. I would highly recommend getting a planner in general. I didn't have to worry about decor or where the guestbook was, etc. It was so lovely to have someone else in charge! But I would also specifically recommend Holly. She was seriously great. One of my bridesmaids had a zipper break on her dress and Holly was immediately on the scene sewing her in. She was also great in coaching me through a worrying situation with a former coworker who was fired a week before the wedding but showed up anyway! Not only is Holly one of the brightest, kindest and most downright pleasant people I've had the chance to work with in ANY capacity, she is an expert at what she does. "Holly was an absolute godsend for our September 2015 wedding (which took place at the Malibou Lake Mountain Club in Agoura Hills, CA). I actually found her after our original coordinator had to back out for health reasons - 4 months before the wedding! As hectic as it was to find someone new in that time frame, it actually ended up being a blessing in disguise, because now I cannot imagine our wedding having happened without Holly's professional guidance and consistently poised and cheerful presence. She was a complete pleasure to be around throughout the entire planning process and was always quick to respond to a phone call or email, no matter how busy she was at the time. Even coming in late in the game, when the pace of wedding planning was ramping up and my fiancee and I were often scatterbrained and stressed, she was calm and on top of everything from the first day she signed on.
On top of being organized and composed in the face of wedding frenzy, Holly has a keen visual eye and often had ideas to help us beautify our wedding - but always in ways that spoke to the kind of event we were trying to create and who we were as a couple. We had a 'nerd chic' wedding involving lego boutonnieres, a Zelda cake, movie-themed tables and signage, and a bright color pallet, and although we weren't sure how all of our disparate ideas would work, Holly tied it all together beautifully. When I saw the reception space all set up for the first time, I couldn't believe my eyes - it was better than anything I'd envisioned.
We received multiple comments from our families and wedding parties about how great it was to have her around over the wedding weekend. And finally, we found her services to be VERY fairly priced - especially considering the amount of stress she took off of us on our wedding day! Overall, I couldn't recommend Holly enough!"
