Here’s a sneak peek from their Kawaii Wedding at The Fig House:
Planner Holly Gray helped bring out the childhood nostalgia, pastel colors, and somewhat ‘nerdy’ elements to this couple’s special day, held at The Fig House in Los Angeles. The bride, Chrissa, had a distinct vision in mind, designing all the elements of the wedding – and photographer, Jenn Emerling, captured them perfectly! The bride’s dress and bridesmaid dresses were custom bedazzled beauties, while the groom + groomsmen wore ‘bit heart’ bowties (think old school video game graphics) + “Game Over” sneakers; and in lieu of traditional bouquets, the ladies walked down the aisle with Care Bears – yes, you read that right!! Every guest came dressed as their cutest, most pastel-self and when they weren’t busy taking selfies in the life-size Mattel Barbie packaging, they were playing on the custom arcade cabinet the groom made.”
This Kawaii Wedding at The Fig House in Los Angeles was a colorful, cotton candy dream to be apart of. I love clients that make bold, unique choices for their weddings. Chrissa + Jon live and breath the Kawaii style. It is reflected in the way they dress, their home and their love of the Japanese culture. It’s completely fitting that their wedding and union would reflect, the color, lifestyle and fashion that mean so much to them both. Some people may think that this style was all Chrissa, but truly, Jon loves Kawaii style just as much as his colorful wife, Chrissa Sparkles. This kawaii wedding is the peak of unique and stylized weddings.
